It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to this very special edition of Living Magazine, an edition dedicated to all of the people - the real heroes of the resort - who have contributed over the past 50 years in creating the Vale do Lobo that we know today.

I invite you to discover Vale do Lobo through the eyes of the property owners, visi-tors and friends who have generously shared some of their most precious Vale do Lobo moments and memories and find out why the resort has become an integral part of our shared past, present and future.

The unmatched sense of community that permeates through every aspect of liv-ing within the resort is something that many have tried to emulate but none have managed to replicate and this shines through in the stories and interviews in the magazine.

It has been an honour to share just a glimpse of the rich history of Vale do Lobo and I hope that you enjoy discovering the heart and soul behind the resort, as much as we have in putting together this edition for you in celebration of 50 years of Vale do Lobo.

É com enorme prazer que lhe dou as boas-vindas a esta edição especial da Living Maga-zine , uma edição dedicada a todos os que contribuíram, ao longo de 50 anos, para que Vale do Lobo se transformasse numa referência e no local único que hoje conhecemos. Descubra Vale do Lobo através dos olhos dos proprietários, visitantes e amigos que gentilmente partilharam alguns dos mais preciosos momentos e memórias do resort , revelando a verdadeira razão pela qual este é parte integrante de um passado, de um presente e de um futuro comum.

O inigualável espírito de comunidade que permeia em todos os aspectos da vida de Vale do Lobo é algo que muitos tentaram replicar mas que nenhum conseguiu efectivamente reproduzir, e isso, é algo único que se reflecte nas muitas histórias e entrevistas ao longo das páginas desta revista.
