Ensuring that Vale do Lobo maintains an excellent level of infrastructure is no easy task with such a diverse range of re-quirements needing to bemet on a daily basis, however formore than a decade Infralobo E.M. has beenworking behind the scenes to ensure that Vale do Lobo runs smoothly in every area.

Founded in 1999 and owned jointly by the Loulé Municipal-ity (51%) and by Vale do Lobo (49%), Infralobo E.M. was set up to meet the challenging de-mands of maintaining the entire infrastructure of Vale do Lobo, a resort with exceptionally high standards.

Infralobo is responsible for public services including water supply, sewerage and solid waste collection, sectors where envi-ronmental and social responsi-bility can never be neglected. The Infralobo teams are also dedicat-

ed to many other activities including street cleaning, maintenance of green space and the general infrastructure of the entire area. A resort such as Vale do Lobo requires constant improvements to maintain the level of excellence that has been achieved through dedi-cated work undertaken by the team at Infralobo and the company not only provides this unwavering service to Vale do Lobo itself but also for third parties and to the surrounding area to allow for a uniform appearance in line with the demands of a luxury resort.

To ensure an uninterrupted quality service, Infralobo creates an annual investment plan coupled with continuous improvements to sustain the infrastructure they are responsible for.

Recent projects from Infralobo have included the installation of improved signage at the entrance of Vale do Lobo and around the resort and the creation of a jogging circuit while there has also been infrastructure refurbishment on Rua do Colina, Rua da Aldeia Sul, Estrada da Horta (4 th phase), Aldeamento Norte and Sul and next to the Oceano Apartments at Oceano Clube. These improvements help to maintain the level of excellence in Vale do Lobo and to promote the appreciation in value of properties within the resort.
